About this Service

Petroleum Titles On-Line (PTO) is the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources Internet access tool to information about Provincial petroleum and natural gas rights and tenures. PTO can also be used to facilitate petroleum tenure-related transactions through the Internet.

Search
Users can access, search and view maps of petroleum and natural gas tenure related information in conjunction with cadastral, administrative boundary and biophysical information maintained in the Land and Resource Data Warehouse.

Sales Parcel Posting Requests
Authenticated users can submit posting request to have parcels of Crown petroleum and natural gas rights offered for disposition at one of the ministry's monthly oil and gas rights competitions.

Private Landowner Property Search
Landowners can search the Petroleum Tenure System using their Tax Roll number to identify if there is an active sub surface tenure overlapping their property.
